NAB is the thing!

Full of so many things it's improbably incredible!(I don't even know what that could mean) It is very exciting to see all the tech, new and old, and really get a better sense of it. The opportunities that might arise are exciting even if nothing new comes of the whole experience. Though, that would technically be impossible... something new will automatically happen simply because of something I learn along the way. Something.

Still in the wild mix of work and fun.

There is so much on the plate that I basically have to stick a tray underneath it just to catch all the overflow. And the weather has been so nice and the people along with it! Ten times the toughest and the best time I've ever had. I do consider myself lucky. I also consider myself a bit less than I probably should on many occasions. Gotta get better at that.

An incredible compliment.

When a client states that choosing to go with us might be the best decision of his time with the company. Even if that is technically not the case(due to other intangible/indiscernible reasons), I still take it as a compliment I can't really fathom the depth of. And it further inspires me to work that much harder to do that much better work.

More and more momentum.

And if I could fill all of the sentences of this post with M words, I would. Anyway, that has nothing to do with the title... such as all the business contacts we seem to be generating as we work out in the public realm. We do the things that need doing and we're doing them well enough to get a little confidence thrown our way. Sure, we are starting to get a little buried by footage right now but I wouldn't necessarily say that's a bad thing... just a super challenging thing. Ha.

Daycation - Orlando 2016

It has been the expectedly brief, but pleasant day of relaxation. I was lucky enough to include a friend for about half of the day. I went to the Atlantic Ocean and walked around in the water for my first time. It was strange how it didn't actually smell like the ocean... no salty smell in the breeze. The sand was super powdery which was cool. Anyway, I think I should plan for more of these sorts of things. Even though it was just one day long, it still made for a special experience.

Crankin' out the doses.

Doses of creativity, that is. Despite the challenge it presents, I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to write a script. My brain really delves into the whole film-making process when I'm composing a scene. It's a different kind of addiction all on its own. Another reason for my immense gratitude in life.

Gettin' things done!

Sure, a Saturday is usually reserved for the fun/relaxing things in life... but getting all kinds of progress done on the work almost feels as nice. Plus, I do tend to really enjoy my work so that's a solid bonus if ever there was a bonus for working. It's also nice when the office is empty so I am much less distracted. Nothing against the awesome people we work with... but I need to be able to focus a little better from time to time anyway.
